Attorney Štefan Štefanek participated in the 16th Lider’s conference The Future of Family Businesses held on 21st March 2025 in Zagreb. The peculiarity of family businesses, which are crafts, trade companies, free-lancers and family farms, run or owned by family members, is that family relationships are important for their business. This is especially evident in the governance system of the family business as well as the need to transfer business to a new generation. Instead of the conference report, the article gives an insight into the identified possible conflicts between family and their business and proposal of the conflict resolution.
